We do take on redesign jobs for any gemstone. However, the hardness of the gemstone has to be considered before the design is completed. Altering the cut of certain gemstones may carry a risk. Soft gemstones, like pearl or opal, are especially susceptible to scratches and fractures.

Furthermore, while our expert gemologists can certainly execute the design of your desired stone setting, the process as a whole may take longer and carry more risk depending on the hardness of the selected stone.
